Absolutely correct.

Is the SenseHAT compatible with the raspberry pi 4?

By implication from reading this thread, Yes.

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 Red Light

Welcome to the Raspberry Pi forums. Some time ago I bought a Raspberry Pi4 4GB to make my home server; I set everything properly (it was working just fine). Then, one day, the power went out and after I switched the Raspberry back on it started to randomly switch itself off without apparent reason. ...

Re: eth0 not initialized properly on startup/after reboot

Welcome to the Raspberry Pi forums. After applying latest updates it seems that my raspberry 2 B 1.1 can't initalize the ethernet adapter properly, in fact there are only a couple of times when it doesn't fail on startup. When I do a reboot, it almost always fails. I also get some undervolting-messa...

If it was just slow performance, I could consider that being the cause but it doesn't explain the missing bluetooth

When you determine the true cause I hope you will document it here so that volunteer helpers like myself can include it in the advice we offer.

my raspberry pi 3 B+ is a previously-working device that is failing. also i am running raspbian buster. Welcome to the Raspberry Pi forums Hoping someone can sort this out for me. Decided to repurpose one my PI 4's; in doing so I installed Raspbian on a new 256GB SD card (Samsung EVO Plus) using Etcher. Previously this PI had a 32GB SD card (Samsung EVO Plus) and ran flawlessly but for the new applica...

What role does your WiFi adapter have to play in reading serial data?

I found this in another post # sample code suppressed from this reply So that is an example of "ways to get it by going into the operating system" But the real question was " is serial number printed somewhere on the board?" To which I believe, as with the first reply given, the answer is No.

Did you know that C++ is included as standard with Raspian? There's no need to use Python or install mono etc. C++ will be very very fast and has great support for the GPIO. Where, precisely, in your filesystem are you expecting to find the output file?

"Yes" isn't a sensible answer...

Hint: if you are looking in some subdirectory of /home/pi/ you are probably looking in the wrong place...

What model is the 'new' RPi?

Maybe you have made the same mistake transferring the led to all the new boards? Used Pin 9 (ground) or Pin 13 (BCM GPIO #27) instead of Pin 11?
