How does the wifi not want to connect ?
What device are you connecting from ?
What distribution are you using ?
Have you tried to restart the dhcp server and hostapd ?

First thing you're going to need to get started is a datasheet for that LCD screen.

Which one?

Re: Trouble with latest version of Raspbian

These "Dolphin" SD cards sounds like the ones you buy from Woolworths.
If they are then I can grab one to test to make sure they work if you want, though my Pi is somewhat dated now.

Re: WiFi issue (FIXED) and dpkg error (not fixed)

perhaps look for a file named statoverride and paste the contents in here.
I don't have a statoverride file, so I'm not sure where it is...

run a

Code: Select all

lsof -i | grep 2119
and see what the output is there as well then, that will get all ports that motion is listening on

Re: Raspberry Pi and Motion

You could try overclocking the Pi.
Do you know if the HP webcam can output mjpeg frames ? if it can, then it will save a lot of cpu cycles.
If it can't then get a cheap webcam that can, and try again

Someone successfully booted the Pi with a NFS root, if that's what you're after.

Re: WiFi with a Tenda 311MI

Best to get onto the Pi and paste the exact error message.
I would recommend at least a "apt-get clean && apt-get update" and see what happens afterwards
