Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

If i have eg v2.8.5.4 can i upgrade (through pinn’s reinstall option) to a test version? Or do i need a stable release?

Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

Well i have setup a rasp2 with PINN for my mom as she only wants to use LibreELEC to stream movies from my nas. I have also installed raspbian+recallbox (for me). But in order to keep her away from seeing any notifications - or pop ups - i have disabled the update option (by adding no_update) ;) Bes...

Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

Oh Thanks for the clarification :). I thought that by going to maintenance tab and re-installing pinn this would erase everything on my sdcard and start from the beginning ! (Like if i add runinstaller in cmdline)

Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

So there is no need to remove the no_update option in the recovery.cmdline? I just go to maintenance page select PINN and hit re-install? And that will do the job?

If a new update is installed, do we loose any PINN options that have been added to the recovery.cmdline?

There is no image icon of recalbox in any version. Probably just a temporary network problem.
Oh ok:) Thought it was a rpi3 issue

Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

@procount thanks for your github help. I will play with my cec settings a little bit.

What about the os renaming option? Are you working on it?

Btw in your new 2854a.zip version recalboxOS-rpi3 has no thumbnail image in the initial install screen ..

Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

Well. It doesnt work. I ve downloaded LE+Raspbian (as test files), added the bootmenutimeout=5 in cmdline and ticked LE as "sticky default". When i started raspbian - rebooted it - let it see what happens after 5 second and..raspbian again  (it seems as sticky default is overrided by the boot...

Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

I really thing the "Sticky Default OS" should be somehow altered. I know how it works now, but i do not like the idea of bypassing the 10 sec bootmenutimeout option. I think it is better to have the possibility (if we want) to use both options together (like berryboot does). Sticky default OS + the ...

I used etcher Did y use Win32DiskImager instead? On the comments in that video here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTCSCj9KBzY&t=438s) it says that " This only works for the pi 3 B, not the B+ (B plus) there's a difference between pi 3, and pi 3 B+, don't advertise it working for the B+ unless yo...

Can we - somehow - rearrange the order of the operating systems on the boot menu? e.g i want first my libreelec , then my Raspbian and lastly my Recalbox ΟS

Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

Dont think complicated (at least for now). I was talking about the rename os option that berryboot has. Like this image i ve uploaded (see below). It will still be the same os - but we can change the name that appears in the OS boot dialog. I guess this can be done through PINN's RGUI (it can be add...
