Netflix via Rasbmc browser?

Is this possible? I have not yet purchased the codecs for the Pi but is this why I can't see videos in the Aurora browser? I wondered Netflix could then be accessed that way?

I think the Code Academy stuff is a good place to start with him and I can move over to something
like Geany on the Pi once we have the basics nailed.
Did you have any luck with this?

I found the Pi to be too slow and impractical for running Code Academy.

Pong hacking/adaptation? (noob)

Hi I haven't coded before but I want to adapt the game pong to add music and replace the ball graphic with an image of my brother's head.

Any tips on starting out? Is this straightforward?

Re: Learning how to code

I would definitely recommend checking out The Mag-Pi magazine. It features listings every month covering languages such as Scratch, Python and more recently C. If you like the listings style of learning, then I would also recommend the books in the Learn Code The Hard Way series and if you're inter...

Re: Learning how to code

I am also looking into beginner's coding. I want to adapt the game pong so that my head is the ball and to add music and maybe a start screen. Any advice? Is there any benefit to using the Pi to code rather than a Mac or PC? I wondered if there was perhaps offline Code Academy or Google Coder softwa...

Wanting to make a simple 2D game

I want to make a simple 2D game such as air hockey or table tennis with a head as the puck/ball and my own sound clips etc.

I am totally new to programming but can anyone tell me the best/easiest was for a beginner to start with this?
