Re: PI 4 4gb 4k playback on chromium youtube

As above. Add to that repeated tab crashes, lock ups, dropped video and sound, then sprinkle increased mouse and keyboard lag the more the CPU is pushed and you have an unholy mixture of frustration with a general sense that you have been conned and you will never buy another of their products and ...

Re: Before Raspberry Pi

Great video. I worked in a barcode labels business that still used photo typesetters in the early 90s. The typesetters themselves were from early mid 80s. The controlling hardware had broken years ago and the interface with the design software on a PC was undertaken on a board using a PIC microcontr...

Re: Raspberry pi zero equivalent with Ethernet

One thing I always wonder about, does ethernet really need such big bulky rubbish plugs? 8 Blame the folks who hijacked their AT&T telephone wiring to use for their ethernet network. If you think RJ45 is bulky you should look at BNC connectors and co-ax cables that were used for 10base2. 10baseT wa...

Re: Introduce yourself!

Hi I'm Mark - I've been addicted to computers for over 30 years now (is this a confession meeting?) and have made my career in technology. Started with my first computer a Texas Ti994/a - used to type in all the games with my Dad and then spend hours trying to get them running. Such great times and ...
