Re: PI2 RTC can't work PCF8563

Has anyone found a way to make the RTC work? Mine says no such file or directory.

sudo i2cdetect -y 1
Error: Could not open file `/dev/i2c-1' or `/dev/i2c/1': No such file or directory

Is somebody working on it, or is it just another lost cause?

THANKS

Re: i2cdetect command not found

Hey, anybody got this working? Mine says:

~ $ sudo i2cdetect -y 1
Error: Unsupported option "-1"!
Usage: i2cdetect [-y] [-a] [-q|-r] I2CBUS [FIRST LAST]
i2cdetect -F I2CBUS
i2cdetect -l
I2CBUS is an integer or an I2C bus name
If provided, FIRST and LAST limit the probing range.

Re: import RPi.GPIO as GPIO RuntimeError

Has anyone figured out a way to use GPIO yet, or is it still messed up?

It would be great to be able to use this feature...

Re: Trailing underscores on USB drive names SOLVED

The problem occurs when I use FAT32 partitions on the SD card with the linux partition with raspbian. Yes, I do need to use LXDE with this project. I assume that's the GUI. fstab does not have an entry for this partition. /dev/mmcblk0p3 would be called FAT but always becomes FAT_ blkid does not exhi...

Re: edit crontab

Hate to say it, but it looks like we still need at least one COMPLETE response to this very important problem: exactly how do you make an application run on startup?
