Re: [Jessie lite] Bluetooth Service not active on startup

See my last entry above. Just add 'service bluetooth start' to /etc/rc.local in order to start the bluetooth service after every boot.

Re: Uae4arm: Amiga emulator with JIT and DispmanX

Hi guys,

I am trying to get comfortable with uae4arm.
After I started uae4arm with an adf file:
How can I close the emulator? How can I get to uae4arm's GUI?

And: Is it possible to remap button bindings of my joystick? How?

Sorry for my silly question but I did not find out yet...

Re: [Jessie lite] Bluetooth Service not active on startup

A workaround is to add

Code: Select all

service bluetooth start
to /etc/rc.local . With this addition bluetooth service is active after every reboot. But I guess this is not the way how it should work normally?

[Jessie lite] Bluetooth Service not active on startup

Hi all! I installed a fresh new version of Jessie Lite on my brand new PI2. I have got wifi working. But with bluetooth there seems to be one last problem... I installed bluetooth with sudo apt-get install bluetooth This installed bluez, too. Bluez version 5.23 it seems. After that bluetooth were up...

Re: uae4all2 (Amiga emulator)

I made a bit more testing: Surprisingly save states do work! After loading an adf file it is possible to load and save save states in the appropriate emulator menu. After restarting the emulator and reloading the same adf file the save states are still present. The save states are saved into the rom...

Re: uae4all2 (Amiga emulator)

I made some testing this weekend. I have not completed the tests yet. But here is a intermediate report: Using F8 to enter the emulator menu does work with the altered version of uae4all! :) Changing the rom path in conf/adfdir.conf results in a constantly changed directory for the rom listing. With...

Re: uae4all2 (Amiga emulator)

@rSi:

Wow, thank you very much, rSi!
Now I can do some serious testing without a reboot each time I want to test another menu item. :)

I will report back this weekend or on Monday.

PS: In gui.cpp I have seen keystate[SDLK_F12] for toggle fullscreen. So at least the key F12 is used there.

Re: uae4all2 (Amiga emulator)

There is a 3rd option: Buying a new suitable keyboard! ;) Unfortunately I do not have great programming skills so let us try option 2: remapping hardcoded keys I will split this subject: a) key for GUI menu I would suggest using the key "F12". This key should be on every PC keyboard. And it is not o...

Re: uae4all2 (Amiga emulator)

First of all I want to thank you for this new Amiga emulator. Since I have got a Raspberry last year I eagerly tried to get an Amiga emulator working on this hardware. I tried several versions of emulators (thanks to welshy for his uptodate emulator info channel!) but every emulator has its faults a...

Re: Emulationstation 2.0 + C64-emulator vice-2.4

Thanks for your hint, DigitalLumberjack. I tried your script but the problem remains at my side. I started vice with your script (especially the sleep command after the execution of vice). It see it working when starting vice with the script in commandline. But again when I start vice using the Emul...

Emulationstation 2.0 + C64-emulator vice-2.4

I have installed the Emulationstaion 2.0 together with the C64-Emulator Vice 2.4 with the help of the RetroPie script. I have an issue when using vice-2.4 together with the Emulationstation 2.0: When I start vice within the command line and then quit the program I return properly to the bash. But wh...

Re: PiFBA released - Final Burn Alpha arcade emulator

@KitchUK: I made some experiences with the memory split. I do not recommend setting the memory split for the GPU higher than 256 Mbyte when using a Raspberry with 512 Mbyte RAM! Some of the roms will not work (probably large roms). I have set up my system with a memory split of 384 Mbyte for the GPU...

Re: PiFBA released - Final Burn Alpha arcade emulator

I use pifba with a Wii U Controller Pro via bluetooth. In my case I can enter the service menu by pressing the following buttons on my controller: left shoulder ("l1"), right shoulder ("r1") and select. To be more accurate: I hold left shoulder und right shoulder and then I press select. I use a GPU...

Re: PiFBA released - Final Burn Alpha arcade emulator

In this thread two people mentioned they got mslug3 working with pifba. How did you accomplish this? I used clrmame and the DAT file included in fba_029671_clrmame_dat.zip to make a proper file mslug3.zip. But unfortunately the rom does not load completely. Is it possilbe to get a list of the conten...

Re: PiFBA released - Final Burn Alpha arcade emulator

I solved my problem with the inverted y-axis of my controller. The kernel module of my device (wiimote) was faulty. Re: PiFBA released - Final Burn Alpha arcade emulator

@welshy: I executed jtest as suggested by you before. I do know the button mapping of my joystick. But unfortunately I do not know how to use them properly in fba2x.cfg. Problem 1: The up-down axis of my left analog stick is "1". Using this "JA_UD=1" in fba2x.cfg results in an inverted up-down-axis ...
