Re: C64 emulator

Does anyone have an archive of mod that AreaScout did of vice-emu-rpi-2.3.21.zip ? The link is dead and I can't find it stored anywhere else.

Re: Gert's VGA add-on for the B+

This question is along the lines of what some others are trying to do, but I wonder if it is possible to 240p (instead of 480i) with the composite video port with the Raspi instead of using VGA addon to another adapter? I know you can set HDMI to 240p, and with these settings using composite video o...

Does this build include 3D acceleration with OpenGL, or is it software rendered?

Re: 240p Composite video?

This is a common output method for older video game systems, and early computer systems. This mode does exist and was put to use 40 years ago. The Atari 2600, Commodore 64, NES, SNES, and as recently as the Nintendo Wii (among others). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Low-definition_television I have al...

240p Composite video?

Is there any way to enable 240p composite video on the Raspberry Pi? I have been able to set the resolution to 320x240, but I believe it is 480i.

I was wondering how enable Outrun in Final Burn Alpha? I know there is code there to support it, but am wondering if it has been disabled in the emulator?

Re: Compiling SDL2 for use in other Programs

Maybe the best bet would go to GLES2 natively instead of use SDL2.

Re: Compiling SDL2 for use in other Programs

Can't wait to see this version of Stella! The thing that bugs me most about the current version is the screen tearing from lack of vsync (and probably because it is using software rendering to scale the screen to a higher resolution). Having a 60fps no tearing Stella on the Raspberry Pi would be nic...

Re: Atari to USB Driver

Great work! I just tried it an confirm it works with the USB to dual Atari/Genesis dual adapters. Thank you for you work on this and thank you for including compiled binaries and instructions. Now we just need to get this included in the official distro! :D

Re: MAME4ALL for Pi

Well I was able to solve my trouble with Spy Hunter. I didn't have an analog joystick to test so I went straight to the source code. I changed the steering wheel to AD Stick X and also changed the auto center code to immediately snap back to center once the controls are released. I also changed the ...

Re: MAME4ALL for Pi

I have found an issue with Spy Hunter. The steering wheel control is set for Paddle instead of AD Stick X. The difference is AD Stick X auto centers (like how it is set in OutRun), but Paddle will move X value back and forth when moving left or right (which makes it extremely hard to drive the car)....

Re: FastDOSBox 1.50 now available for the Raspberry Pi

gzz: I have compiled my own and also have the same problem of small window sizes, so I am thinking the same thing that there is something that isn't switched on for the source release. I have read here that it looks like it supports hardware scaling: http://www.codingepiphany.com/2013/06/29/faster-r...

Re: [11/09/13] UltraSlim - Retro Gaming + Q3A + Desktop + XB

Nice setup, easy to use and get going. One thing I have found out is Picodrive supports Sega Master System, which runs at full speed (though some games have graphic glitches). One problem I have found is that the Atari 2600 emulator has an issue with sound. The longer you play, the longer sound lags...
