SSHing to the Pi kills my internet connection!

I have my Pi connected to a Virgin Superhub, my W7 PC through a powerline adaptor to the superhub. If I SSH into the Pi with Putty, I can connect fine and use it for a while, but then my PC loses internet connection. It has an IP address, renewing it, flushing dns, restarting DHCP client, disabling ...

Pi shutting down after 5 minutes

I am running the latest Raspbian image on a Pi connected to the ethernet and HDMI and everything is fine for 5 minutes or so, can update etc. Then suddenly the video will drop and shortly after my network connection will drop. Using a different Pi this does not happen. Seems that it is shutting down...

Re: Cambridge OS tutorial

The source directory is at the same level as the makefile. One thing you could try is to download the solution to observe how Alex has set up the directory structure. That worked though my directory structure was as far as I can see the same. Anyway thanks for the help chaps, can focus on the learn...

Re: Cambridge OS tutorial

I have the template, put main.s in that directory with the makefile and get this:

arm-none-eabi-ld --no-undefined -Map kernel.map -o build/output.elf -T kernel.ld
make: arm-none-eabi-ld: No such file or directory
make: *** [build/output.elf] Error 1

Cambridge OS tutorial

Whilst this is a superb course, is great for explaining how everything works and I have learnt a lot already I have fallen over at the first hurdle i.e. the make command! You follow everything, install software it asks you to (did this on both Mac OS and Windows), created the main.s file with everyt...

Someone has recently got MAME up and running and hooked up an old competition pro joystick to the GPIO pins. Works perfectly!

My iPad 2 has never had a problem either.

Most times it is a problem with iTunes. Do a factory reset and restore from the backup.

Re: Arcade/console solutions

I was thinking that if you can get a bluetooth dongle working, usb hard disk, some kind of script to auto sync and a small screen of some kind, then you could use the iCade as your case and controls.

Re: Installing FUSE, the Spectrum emulator. Arch or Debian i

Just gets a bit frustrating when you know what you have to do and you are working from the same environment as someone else, yet yours doesnt work and theirs does !

it is great that you can wipe your card and start again :)

Re: Installing FUSE, the Spectrum emulator. Arch or Debian i

Yes this thread is a bit confusing, all Arch instructions and the Debian stuff is not all there. Also there seems to be a bit of assumed prior knowledge etc which we might not have :)

hence me asking if someone can do a complete Debian instruction list without any references!

Re: Installing FUSE, the Spectrum emulator. Arch or Debian i

Okay I downloaded and installed libspectrum, but where do you get the fuse install from? The instructions mention it had been said previously, but it has not! also it wanted spectrum-roms and an openbasic. I downloaded fuse-emulator-common for debian and ran it but it doesn't create any fuse directo...
