Re: IoT CM3

What does MS show as the system requirements? This is what has confused me, as far as I was aware IoT required a minimum of 8GB Storage. Presuming this means IoT needs the CM3Lite as it allows a custom storage media, you would then need to wire an SD card (port) to the SD0 pins? Or is it possible t...

IoT CM3

Hi all,

Will Windows IoT work on the CM3 or does it have to be CM3Lite with an 8GB+ eMMc?

Want to know before I buy one.

Re: Selling The Raspberry Pi

Hey,

Sorry, i'm not trying to be dense, just a little confused.

The link provided talks about using the logo and title but I don't want to have that information anywhere on the device (other than on the Pi board itself).

Re: Make sd card irremoveable

Thanks for all your help.

The warrentee void if reoved has definately got me thinking but think i will more that likely go with the CM(3?) board as it'll give just that little bit more protection.

Re: Make sd card irremoveable

I started thinking about using glue but it's not really a good idea as (like you said) if the card fails i'm nakered.

Is it possible to solder some other type of flash storage device as a replacement?

Make sd card irremoveable

I want to make my sd card irremovable so end users cannot remove it.

Is there a way I can do this?

I am thinking/presuming i could remove the sd card port and wire in a different type of port?

Selling The Raspberry Pi

I am thinking about using the Raspberry Pi in a project that I'm intending to sell upon completion.

Is this allowed?

If so are there any restrictions or requirements?

Thanks in advance

Re: Touch screen Necessities

Cheers! However that one has £50 of P&P so a not quite worth it lol

So HDMI is the better/easier route, i presume the touch recognition is registered down the usb to the pi?

What is it i am looking for when downloading the kernel?

Why is that one you sent me better than the other?

Touch screen Necessities

I am looking at connecting a touch screen to my Pi but after seeing all the different ways im confused From looking at how others have wired theirs up, the TFT route seems to be the best way What factors should i keep in mind? What pins must be connected? E.g. looking at this one: http://www.ebay.co...
