MagPi 39

Does anyone have more info about the Nov.. 2015 issue on
how to get the Sprites in the article: PIXEL ART on Sense Hat?

The link takes me to a page that is 1 file with all the Sprites.
How do I pick out just 1 to test the program?

Re: Raspberry Pi 2 doesn't boot, original Model B does (solv

With a fresh copy of Wheezy, it boots just fine! NO, an already running copy of Wheezy brought up on a Pi 1 WON'T work on a Pi 2!! Unless you run sudo apt-get update;sudo apt-get upgrade on the Pi 1 first. (and some voodoo stuff if you have NOOBS). A fresh download of Wheezy from their home ...

Re: IR Camera vs PiCamera

IR cameras are not usually off the shelf items. A DSLR conversion to IR is usually several hundred dollars, http://www.lifepixel.com I have found the PiNoir camera very cool for daytime pictures of the sky, especially the golden hour. Great for security at night using IR lights. Also more light sen...

IR Camera vs PiCamera

What is the Pros and Cons of the two camera's?

I have the regular camera and was wondering what advantage or disadvantage there would be by using the IR Camera.

Re: No Wifi without Ethernet

One of my Pi's that I use usually has both wired and wifi networks connected. I connect to it from my Windows 7 machine using SSH. I connect to both eth0 and wlan0 using SSH. If I disconnect eth0 the wifi appears to stop responding to my input. I will then type a few CR characters and after a short...

Re: No Wifi without Ethernet

I bought the WiFi adapter from Adafruit. Same issue with NO WiFi when Ethernet is pulled!

Is there any new person out their that has figured this out yet. none of the, (very spars) answers
above have proven fruitful!

I'll try searching duduckgo, since google and bing are NO HELP!

Re: rpi-update crash

HELP! I was running rpi-update in a PuTTY session, but had a second session running with a shell executing that was running the camera. Because of that, the rip-update stopped prematurely. Now the Pi WON'T boot. Is there any one file I can replace from a computer to get it up again? Any thoughts?

Re: Python driving 44870 LCD

I'm new to Python. I DON'T understand "import". I know what it does, but I can't seem to find
anything on what the file looks like to "import". Is it a library or include file, and what extension
will it have?? So I DON'T know what to look for!
