Re: Bill Gates backs Raspberry Pi in all but name?

This is what Bill Gates said: "Just giving people devices, that has a really terrible track record. You really have to change the curriculum and the teacher and those things, and it's never going to work on a device where you don't have keyboard-type input. I mean, students aren't there just to rea...

Re: Bill Gates backs Raspberry Pi in all but name?

Some entertaining stuff here, but we're drifting way off topic aren't we? Politics? Religion? (Waits for the final post, which links it all back to Bill Gates supporting the Raspberry Pi in all but name?) Agreed. We have even touched on Godwin's Law at page 3, which must hold some sort of internet ...

WiFi set-up + home logistics problems)

Hello all, This is going to sound stupid I know, but I have run into an unexpected snag with setting up the WiFi for my Pi. This is more of a fox+chicken+grain puzzle than a set up query tbh. You see, I need to know if there is a way to install the WiFi drivers manually into debian without having a ...

Re: Raspberry Pi articles in specialist magazines

Gotta say I do like seeing the UK Linux mags giving the R-Pi so much coverage. For the last year many of the publications were giving so much space to Android that they become nothing more than bloated "Which-Android tab" magazines. It's good to see them going back to having the how-to's and Linux t...

Mine came today :)

The postie was walking up my driveway just as I left my house for work, so I took it with me to open it at my desk and make all of my team mates jealous, lol.

Gotta wait until i get home now though.

+1 for Pi-Tins

There has been a website of that name created by a forum member specifically to share and show off Pi cases for a while now.

Very nice haul, you have there mate! You don't come across 5 1/2" disc drives for those too often let alone the monitors. Get yourself a copy of Terminator2, it was one of the last great games released for it IMO. (and not a bad movie tie-in game either)

Hi Luca,

You may want to see this thread http://www.raspberrypi.org/for.....pi/page-26

The 3d case printing has been discussed in quite some length.
