Re: WiFi repeater failing

You need to include the '-t nat' with '-S' as well, to see the rules associated with that table. Thanks. "sudo iptables -S -t nat" yields the following, which looks good: -P PREROUTING ACCEPT -P INPUT ACCEPT -P OUTPUT ACCEPT -P POSTROUTING ACCEPT -A POSTROUTING -o wlan0 -j MASQUERADE The guide you ...

are you using Raspbian Stretch?
then you have to change some details to get things working.

e.g. /etc/network/interfaces is not used anymore.
and /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf needs additional parameter to get wifi working.
I will try Stretch *IF* I get it working on Jessie :)

For some reason the usb wifi adaptor didn't want to connect...

Start at boot and restart app on exit

I am looking to set up my Pi as a dedicated camera streaming to the network. I want it to start the camera on boot and should FFmpeg or raspivid crash, then it restart the apps. I have used a similar script before, but it just won't work here :( it starts fine but when I kill raspivid or FFMpeg, it ...

Re: Pi as wireless bridge?

I followed the guide here: http://sirlagz.net/2013/05/16/how-to-use-a-rt5370-usb-wifi-nic-in-a-bridge/ And configured /etc/network/interfaces and /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf as per gabeblack post in this thread at Fri Dec 28, 2012 11:13 pm.
