Re: Working Pi last night. Now power and OK LEDs only

Same issue with two model B boards here. I've bought supported SD cards listed in the Wiki, 1amp and 2amps usb power supply, two usb hub.. The wiki says there is 1 out of 1000 boards being defective. I may have got real lucky getting two bads boards. They BOTH worked for the first evening. Next day ...

What kind of SD card are you using? I wish to get references from people's experiences. So far: Kingston 16gig class 4: boot loop after it trys to load the /dev filesystem. Sandisk 4gig SDSDB-004G-B35S class 4: same issue, boot loop after trying to load the /dev filesystem *both* SD cards mentioned ...

Hi there! Yes it is a genuine card from Kingston. I actually bought two of them lol. I bought a Sandisk 4gig SDSDB-004GS-B35S, lets see if this one will work. EDIT: I use the debian6-19-04-2012 image. 2nd EDIT: I just installed debian6-19-04-2012 onto the 4gig Sandisk mentioned and it does not work....

Kingston 16Gig class 4 boot issues

Kingston 16GB SDHC Class 4 (SD4/16GB) is mentionned to be compatible in the wiki.

It does boot sometimes, most of the time it does not.

Tested on two model B boards.

It reboots right after it says it's loading the /dev filesystem.

Has anyone bought these SD cards and getting same issue?

Two RP boards not working after 2nd boot HELP!

I've bought a second board since my first one was not working at all after 2nd boot. The 2nd board I've received worked great for the first evening. I did apt-get update and apt-get upgrade...... installed vlc player... and then next afternoon try to boot it again and I am now stuck in a boot loop. ...

New board came in, everything is functional. :D

Note to self: no need to short any fuses when cuting the 5v wire from the usb plug of my powered usb hub. that way i don't mix power sources on the RP.

Re: Mixxx port

All I need is the RP to be able to decode only one deck at a time. I may start with Xwax. I'd wish to explore what kind of latency I can get with proper usb audio performance tuning. A 486 pc with 66Mhz can play a 256kbps mp3 at ~70% of it's CPU usage. The RP has 700Mhz and 256Megs of RAM. x86 and A...

Re: RaspberryPi Doesn't Boot for me

It boots with the composite out for video by default. I have not used HDMI on it yet. But you need to specify it's configurations on the SD card fat partition that you'll be using the HDMI output as default and it's resolution settings too. There is documentation for this purpose. http://elinux.org/...

Question!

The people who did re-solder their crystals at the back of the board (re-doing the 4 joints per crystal..), have this fixed their bootup issue as well?

Boots only once!

If I let the board sit for a day, then I can boot it up once. Power cycle the unit, and then after it gets stuck at the Raspberry Pi logo at the top left of the screen. Also, no USB working. Have not tested Ethernet yet. I have tested booting from 3 different types of card. I ended up buying support...

There is the power supply fan and the cpu fan that keeps the oil in constant movement. So the whole thing stays close to the room temperature.
