Re: Pi as wireless bridge?

Ok, after spontaneous reviewing my bridge configurations I thought that it could be the ifplugd that could be someone that meddles with my interfaces, as a result I went to /etc/default/ifplugd.conf and commented out all the lines. I still get those dropouts from my router (avm fritzbox 7270) and if...

Re: Pi as wireless bridge?

I went through your configuration and aside that you have a thing for atheros wireless cards, it seems to work as you described. But unfortunately doesn't cover that needs to be covered.

Re: Pi as wireless bridge?

Now I have been turning things upside down and with a lot of googling I have a suspect.
This question goes to the kernel experts, is it possible that the usb hub suspends after a while? And if so how can someone change that??

I would be happy to receive your suggestions and thoughts..

Re: Pi as wireless bridge?

I have been reading this thread up and down, followed every single link posted as a possible source of solving this problem. Some suggested natting and firewaling the pi, which looks at first a very good and very secure solution. But it is also a very static, and gets complicated when setting up ser...

Re: RaspBerry Pi(e) Model C (imaginations & wants)

@Lob0426: really neat work. Just as a feedback to your pictures, could you add bigger pictures?

@RaTTuS: he he, saw that project too. That was actually the reason y I got this simple suggestion. :D

Re: Adding a USB header

y forget? There are tons of boards being developed and that recently came out on kickstarter like this one http://www.udoo.org/ , and none have a usb header. Sure this one is 4 times more expensive than the Pi but, adding 1 or 2 more usb Channels, or even solder a usb hub onto the board would give a...

Re: Adding a USB header

This is a nice and clean solution. But since there is a discussion about a version C of the RasberryPi it would be good to throw that idea in.
Btw, where did you get these parts? From Farnell? can you post me the link??

Re: RaspBerry Pi(e) Model C (imaginations & wants)

Well it would be great at least to develop small breakout usb hubs that we can integrate into a case.

Re: RaspBerry Pi(e) Model C (imaginations & wants)

I don't know if my suggestion was already discussed, if so please point me where it has been discussed. what would be really good is to add usb headers onto the board so that if someone develops a USB device, but want to save the usb ports for something else like mouse & keyboard, or even harddisk. ...

Adding a USB header

Hi, This question goes to all the modder experts in this forum. I was wondering if it is possible to add some USB headerpins onto the board so that I can prototype some usb devices that I can add without using the USB ports. I don't know if it is possible but maybe it could be possible to divert the...
