Galaxy Note 4 Charger and Raspberry Pi 2?

Does the Galaxy Note 4 charger work with the Pi 2? I know it has 5 V and 2 A but its an adaptive fast charger, so I'm just curious if it will affect the Pi.

Smoke from Pi

So for Christmas I got a powered hub from my parents, its generic but according to Pi Hut it would work. I plugged in my keyboard and mouse and Tenda 150 N adapter to it and plugged it in to the pi starting it up. It worked fine, but every once in a while the keyboard or mouse would stop working. I ...

Touchscreen desk, table,whiteboard, or wall

So yeah second post in only 1 day, but I've decided to completely change projects. I'm trying to make a touchscreen interface in my house. Its going to be a desk, table, whiteboard, or wall. My one question, is how do I do this? Can I get some LED or LCD screen and put it on my desk and then wire it...

Hooking up a OLD Laptop screen to the raspberry pi

So I have a old HP Omnibook 2100 from 1998, and I want to use its screen to hook up to the pi so it can get a display, and if possible maybe even hook up its keyboard and trackpad. Basically I'm aiming at making the Pi portable using the brick of a laptop, if I can. It'll be a pretty hard project, a...

Noob at raspberry pi, want to hook up arduino or its shields

So I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I'm a total noob at this. I'm in high school and am really interested in computers. I recently started a project to do home automation, and security. Currently I'm teaching myself Python but then I'm starting the project. I want to use some Ar...

Will this Belkin Hub work with my RPi Model B?

I'm only 14 so I am a noob, so I'm trying to keep costs to a minimal so if I screw things up it won't be too terrible. Anyways, I am wondering will this hub work without back feed to power the pi, a inland PGS keyboard/mouse, and a single usb hdd/ sata hdd converted drive? Here is the link to the hu...

Powered hub and micro USB both powering the pi is it safe?

So I recently got a RPi model b which I'd bought a relative for Christmas in 2012. However the said family member never used it so they told me to learn to program with it. Now I'm a total noob with this stuff as I am only 14. I bought a inland 7 port hub with power, but when I plug it in it powers ...
