Re: Buster bug report thread

Update:

I tried the 26 sept 2019 buster release - same behavior

I tried removing the edimax wifi dongle and performing a ifdown / ifup on wlan0 that is using the internal wifi of PI 3B+ at it works.
I ll try with another dongle, in order to determine if it is a Edimax driver related issue.

Reading 8bit synchronous data @ 30MHz - interface RPI3 with camera sensonr OV2640

Hi I am trying to understand whether it is feasable to interface PI with camera sensor OV2640. This sensor has an outpu digital video port providing 8/10 bit synchronous with Pixel clock running @ 30MHz. Reading data at such speed cannot be done in user space. I am wondering whether the SMI (seconda...

Re: memory allocation breaks frame buffer ioctl?

I am self responding thanks to a solution arrived from a different channel.

Every structure used in ioctl HAS TO BE MEMSET to 0!

memory allocation breaks frame buffer ioctl?

Hi I am new in raspberry PI. I am trying to use frame buffer. I configured frame buffer editing /boot/config.txt framebuffer_depth=32 framebuffer_ignore_alpha=1 When I try to open the device and perform a FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO ioctl I have an issue related to memory allocation. If I try to allocate me...
