The SD car I was using was a class 10 Play.com 4Gb.

I re-imaged onto a 16Gb SDHC class 4 Sandisk card. it booted immediately.

I know that there are many Kernel panic posts but I have been unable to find one that specifically refers to not finding the root fs.

Would it not have been more positive for you to have included in your petition, the exact reverse.

i.e. Items manufactured, complete, outside the UK to have attracted import duty. Thus making the benefit to UK manufacture greater.
