Re: Pi Tins : Casings for the Raspberry Pi

<t>I think the exposure of the board adds to its value in an educational environment, IT can tie-in with design & tech - kids designing and building their own cases for the machine to be mounted in<br/> <br/> I'm undecided on mine as yet - it may be lego (seen as I have a loft full of that and P...

Re: What happened to the Beta Boards?

maybe people should just be patient?

the boards will be available and pretty sure there are no terms that everyone has to post vids etc

just buy, support, enjoy, develop and explore!

Re: another UK "alternative" to the pi

<t>I will be buying a RaspPi, for a number of reasons.<br/> <br/> I'm not a great coder by any stretch of the imagination, but $25 is under my expendable income bracket - so I will happily just get it to mess about with.<br/> <br/> The main selling points are is its British (before anyone points out...

Re: Rugged case? Suticase And alternative cases?

I'm guessing that if you start screwing THROUGH the board, it may put unnecessary strain on the board itself. Also if you are cack handed like me and slip - bye bye board!

As for release dates - it will be on the site when it happens, until then no date is officially set

Re: Lego case project

Kimondo's idea of the figures holding it is a pretty good one - why hide the RaspPi away when instead they can be holding it aloft proudly!

I may be making a trip into the loft to dig out my box, also got some Playmobil up there too - good excuse to dig the kids toys out again too
