Re: Rev 2 Mechanical Drawing with P6 Header Location/Dimensi

Jesse, I find your comments off the subject, and this is the second time with the same attitude -. are you a moderator really? In another post you commented the dimensions can't be had because you have day job (and as this presumably doesn't pay .. so you are not obligated to answer). Now you are te...

Re: Rev 2 Mechanical Drawing with P6 Header Location/Dimensi

It can't be measured because 1. Holes have a tolerance to accommodate connectors pins (0.025"), and pins have a tolerance too. Holes for pins are made BIGGER than the LARGEST pin size (depends on the designer). There is no information on the drill size. heck we don't even know the "real pin size" (d...

Re: Rev 2 Mechanical Drawing with P6 Header Location/Dimensi

No it's not easy to measure. There are 3 different connectors and 2 holes. The only published dimensions are those of 2 mounting holes. Their relative position to connectors will have to be measured .. can be done, but if you are off by 0.25mm and add that to manufacturing tolerance of another 0.10m...

Re: Request - 'Mounting hole' location relative to pin 1 of

I have looked at the Trace Parts model. It's not complete, it only has P1 connector modeled, which is available even on this site. I was asking for P5 and P6 location which I haven't found anywhere. I find mod's response rather strange -- saying one persons question (out of 1.5 million users) is not...

Re: Request - 'Mounting hole' location relative to pin 1 of

I am struggling with this thing too, I have read posts going back nearly 8 months on this issue. I am not sure why is there such a great confusion being created here. It's obvious that raspberry pi org doesn't want to release the exact mechanical dimensions and is making everyone measure/guess them....

very late reply, I know, but it is done now.
Gert,

Is that what's in the top section of this post?
I am wondering if you could add the following to it.
Location of the P1, P5 and P6 -- just the Pin 1 location from 0,0

Thanks
