Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

For the last few weeks (in my spare time), I've been trying to figure out how to get a video file from the time-lapse images. I finally figured it out (for me, the option to do it from within the otherwise excellent picam software wouldn't work). Anyone wanting to convert the time-lapse images to an...

Re: Update/upgrade keeps failing

I seem to have solved this issue. In the Network Preferences GUI, for wlan0 I unchecked "Automatically configure empty options", and removed the router's IP from the DNS Search field. After doing that, I am able to successfully update/upgrade the Pi.

Re: Update/upgrade keeps failing

When you set up the static IP, did you also set up the gateway/router? Can you start a terminal and enter ip route and post the results. Yes to both a gateway and router. Here's the results of the ip route: default via 192.168.10.1 dev wlan0 src 192.168.10.5 metric 303 192.168.10.0/24 dev wlan0 pro...

Re: Update/upgrade keeps failing

Sorry, not sure what you're looking fo here. Using the gui, I've set a static IP on wlan0, and connected to my network using the correct SSID and passkey.

Network is up and running, I have quite a few nodes on the network, none of which having any issues. This one Pi is the only one having any issues.

Update/upgrade keeps failing

Hello, First, this is not my first pi setup/install. I've done this many times, so I'm starting to wonder if I have a faulty Pi. New SD card, formated, flashed with the latest (11-29-17) Raspian Stretch. (btw, also tried this with the September version of Raspian on this same Pi, same results.) Most...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I'm trying to get the multiview page working with two pi cameras, however I'm not having much luck. Both Pis can see each other, and both can be viewed from the internet, and both cameras are working as expected. The internal IP address for the PIs are 192.168.1.195 and 192.168.1.196. My multiview....

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Normally running the ./update.sh script in the RPi install directory should do the job. If there are any problems then just wipe the RPi install directory and git clone and install like done originally. The install will be much faster second time as the prerequisites already exist. Worked flawlessl...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Latest version allows the Simple / Full toggle button next to the preview. To get this there is a toggle to enable and disable this under System settings. This will be remembered on a per browser basis. Sounds great! Forgive my ignorance, how do I get the latest version without a slick and reload? ...

OK. I'll see if I can restore this in some way.
That would be awesome. Thank you in advance.

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

The simple button was removed when the facility to change the UI facilities based on login was added. This allows 3 levels of access based on login including one similar to 'SImple'. See wiki User Access levels under Additions and tricks. In principle it would be possible to have the equivalent of ...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hey guys, I've been using this software for a while now. It's the best I've seen at VERY nearly real-time video. Thank you for all the work you've put into this! I've very recently upgraded to the latest version of this (and Raspbian), and noticed there's no longer the button to switch between the F...
