if its on the bottom, is something else above it?

if you answered like so:

Computer Display?

In my room I have one wall socket, a Toshiba Sparkling satellite L740, a raspi, a hdmi cable, one breadboard, and the raspi power pack. I wanted to have the pi display on my pc without vnc or a remote desktop. Is there any ot...

Re: The projects list. Look here for some ideas.

I am thinking of attaching a solar panel to my raspberry pi but which GPIO pins should I connect to? I have no clue when it comes to the GPIO. :( I had the idea of using Sketchup 8 to draw a prototype but could someone help please?

Re: line drawing problem

It may be working but just not saving the jpeg where you expect. Try giving a full path name for the save, e.g. rather than pygame.image.save('image3.jpg') try pygame.image.save('/home/ your_user_name /image3.jpg') Thank you! IT WORKED!!!! I found the line drawing program here: https://www.youtube....

Re: line drawing problem

You really need to explain what happens when it doesn't work so people have some idea what might be going wrong, errors messages, description of what actually happens etc. So when it does not work, not a single error message is displayed. It runs perfectly fine except for the section that saves the...

Try this as well.

Code: Select all

window = pygame.display.set_mode(...)
pygame.image.save(window, "screenshot.jpeg")
I tried this as well but sorry, it did not work. And I also did not receive an error message

Re: line drawing problem

If you are drawing into a py game window you can save it by saving the surface to a jpg file eg. catSurfaceObj = image3 windowSurfaceObj.blit(catSurfaceObj,(1,1)) pygame.display.update() #save if required pygame.image.save('image3.jpg') It did not work when I tried it but thank you for the suggestion

SyntaxError

I was reading magpi issue 5 and found a program that drew mountains. When I typed this line:

for 1 in range (0,255):
pygame.draw.rect(sky,(r,g,b),(0,1-1,600,1))

Python printed:
SyntaxError: cannot write to literal

can anyone help me?
