Re: SI4703 FM Tuner Eval Board unreachable via i2cdetect

I find Si4703 a bit unstable - sometimes it just does not want to be detected :) Try to power it off (better to disconnect power completelly) and then turn on back again. I've built an RDS scanner using B16 version of this chip and when it works, it works fine https://github.com/achilikin/RdSpi :) R...

Re: Accessing ATMEL MEGA32L firmware data??

Hi Richard,

I've just noticed this topic (was searcing for something else), so just in case if you still interested in changing ATmega23L firmware have a look at my modded MMR-70 https://github.com/achilikin/mmr70mod

Converting bdf fonts on RPi (for SSD1306 OLED display)

Hi, I use small SSD1306 based OLED displays for some of my projects so eventually I've created my own simple bdf to C font converter bdfe . I've just uploaded it to GitHub . Files can be converted on RPi with or without OLED display connected, actually bdfe can run on any Linux machine :D Example of...

RdSpi - Si4703 based RDS scanner for RDS-Net

I've got simple Si4703 breakout board with no documentation but was able to backtrace all connectors to Si4703 pins and decided to use it to make an RDS scanner: https://github.com/achilikin/RdSpi My idea is to use modified MMR-70 with some sensors (temperature, humidity, air pressure and so one) an...

Re: Multiplexing

Sounds like a lot of counters to multiplex :) Is it 0-1V analogue sine output? If so, you will need to convert it to digital first, then connect to some sort of counters, for example to 74lv8154 (dual 16bit counter) and then multiplex counters output to RPi. To save RPi's GPIO you can connect counte...

Re: Servoblaster - need to set composite signal

Without IP just write desired values to /dev/servoblaster in ticks, usec or percent. For example, for us: # use file to set a servo position in us def servo_set_us(servo, pos): with open(DEVFILE, 'w') as fd: cmd = str(servo) + '=' + str(pos) + 'us' cmd += '\n' fd.write(cmd) For degrees (0-180): # us...

Re: Servoblaster - need to set composite signal

First you need to start servoblaster daemon with command line parameters defining servos configuration - number of servos, their min-max range, etc... Then you can send commands to servod using /dev/servoblaster file or to TCP socket as shown in servod.py. feat_lib branch also contains gauge.py scri...

Re: Servoblaster - need to set composite signal

I've separated servoblaster functionality to servod library which can be linked with an application if direct control of servos is required. Have not merged yet to the aster branch of my forked version of servoblaster but you can have a look at https://github.com/achilikin/PiBits/tree/feat_lib/Servo...

Re: visual c++

With a couple of plugins you can develop and debug for RPi from Visual Studio. For remote compiling and debug you will need WinGDB http://www.wingdb.com/ and for python you will need Python Tools for Visual Studio https://pytools.codeplex.com/ Python tools are free but WinGDB is not, plus WinGDB req...

There are a lot of web server applications available for RPi which can be used to control GPIO, for example, have a look at WebIOPi http://trouch.com/category/raspberrypi/webiopi/

Да, если у блока питания нет ограничений по току, то пожечь дорожки можно запросто, так что при подключении питания не через микро USB разьем лучше поставить защиту.

Just as an extra hack I was able to control MMR-70's onboard LED :)
Now It blinks every other RDS refresh cycle:

Re: Питание от ATX через GPIO

+5 можно откуда угодно брать, лишь бы было стабильно и несильно от 5V отличалось. MicroUSB просто разьем для подачи питания, в сам USB его нежелательно вставлять, ибо старшая версия малинки берет больше чем 500 mA и USB может просто не потянуть таких запросов.

Re: FMBerry - transmit FM radio with your Pi

Cool. Also note that I added RDS support last week, so you could even transmit your song titles :) Yes, I saw it when I forked sources at github last night :) By the way I got rid of threads and just run main loop to completion using poll() on listening socket and RDS interrupt pin file descriptor....

Скорее всего вам не повезло. На страничке adafruit на закладке Downloads написано, что это The controller is a a HD44780-compatible, то есть он просто совместим с HD4470, а сам является японско-английской версией: http://www.adafruit.com/datasheets/WH2004A-CFH-JT%23.pdf и переписать там можно только...
