Help with screen scraping

Hi all I have a relatively simple screen scraping exercise to do but I have never done screen scraping before. I understand that there are a few python libraries out there that can do screen scraping so I'm looking for some tips on the best library to use from someone who has done scraping before. W...

Heater

The idea I have is a remote controlled boat capable of self steering itself across an ocean and also receiving and sending messages and images.

My apologies. I have another piece of script from the following page that is derived from the first link I posted above. http://www.alexandrowitz.de/python-gps-with-gps-usb-device-nd-100/ I have tried both without success. You will see there is a similar statement in the code in the first link i pos...

Request for ultra low power pi

Hi all I'd like to make a request for an ultra low power pi at some point in the future. Yes I know that the model A can be run below 1 watt but I want a reduction in power by a magnitude or more. Why? Think about the crystal sets you used to make when you were a kid. They were able to tune a local ...

HI all I'd like to hear from anyone who has a stable JT-65 setup using the Raspberry Pi as I am trying to get a stable working setup going. You probably have compiled either JT-65HF or WSJT and gotten it working on your Pi. I have had a go using various online web pages as advice. I have successfull...

Cambridge EDX Raspberry Pi/Python course

Hi all I recently started studying MITx: 6.00x Introduction to Computer Science and Programming through EDX. The course is offered online and free by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as part of the EDX consortium. Essentially it basically teaches you to code in python. I have found it...
