Re: Esc and F4 not working on RetroPi

I'm pretty sure that'll be a keyboard issue, it worked fine for me when the escape button in game didn't.

Re: Esc and F4 not working on RetroPi

I'm having the same issue, both my keyboards are only 5V 100ma and neither work. Mapping other keys doesn't work either, retropie ignores them. Try editing the /RetroPie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg config by removing the # at the start of the Input_Exit_Emulation line and assigning a different key. It...

Re: Can't exit emulation station/retro arch

I've tried with a new keyboard and it still won't work, I've edited retroarch.cfg in /etc/ and also tried the ones for individual emulators and still I can't exit games. I've even tried reassigning the keys. It seems to me retroarch isn't even looking at the configs.

Editing cfg on windows PC?

Hi guys,

I currently connect my PC to my pi using WinSCP, I can add files, but it does not let me edit cfg files in the /etc/ directory? Is there any way to do this from my PC as it is a lot quicker than editing on my pi?

Thanks,
Alan

Re: Can't exit emulation station/retro arch

I'm not using a controller, nor did I compile it myself, I downloaded the image with RetroPie already installed

Can't exit emulation station/retro arch

Hi Guys, I can't seem to exit roms once I launch them. Escape does not work. Once booted up F4 does return me to the console, but as soon as I start a game I just can't go back to the emulator select screen. I have to turn the power off to my pi. I've looked in the config and everything looks fine. ...
