I agree Pokmnjo. Have a SD card for each occasion. I found openelec a bit clumsy but raspbmc much better. They both run xmbc it is how the underlying os has been built that makes the difference. Raspbmc is the simplest to install but you do have to be online and it can take 10 - 15 min depending on ...

I had a similar problem when using openelec. I may be due to refresh rate or it may be simply your telly is bust. Stupid question time.
