Re: GAMES LIST: Games That Work On The Pi

Thanks for the replies, and apologies for not having updated this in rather a while.

I've slightly refactored the overall layout of the post as it was all over the place, and hopefully soon I'll be able to make sure everything in it is consistent.

Re: LTSP thin client, not berryterminal?

I am planning on doing the same thing with the new B2. Have you found any answers since you posted in November? Presently I am looking for an economical solution for a power supply. I hope to find an inexpensive power supply that will power four, or more PI B2 thin clients. Any suggestions? LTSP ha...

Re: GAMES LIST: Games That Work On The Pi

Depends which games you like to play in general - OpenArena is quite good, especially on the Pi2, so is OpenTTD if you like that kind of thing (but don't make your map too big if you do play it), but you should try out a few and see what you like best ;)

Re: GAMES LIST: Games That Work On The Pi

I can't remember where, but OpenArena is stored somewhere in /home/[user]/.pistore, or something like that. I myself copied the files from there to my home directory to make it easier to run.

Re: GAMES LIST: Games That Work On The Pi

I guess, but the Pistore one has been compiled specifically for the Pi, although you do have to do a reboot which is a bit annoying

The issues with wireless technologies

I'll get straight to the point. Problem is, we haven't had the time to thoroughly test new wireless technology. Being human beings, we just think that things like this are great. So, we don't see any long-term (and potentially harmful) effects until it may be too late: http://www.earthcalm.com/wi-fi...

Re: Recover Disk-Imaged Hard Drive

The first few GBs will (probably) be the EFI partition (usually default with windows 8 or newer), and one or two windows partitions, and hopefully they would be big enough to prevent any damage to the NTFS partition. So, you can probably recover the files, however everything that allows a computer t...
