What I could see the link posted by duCin0 is that really the reason for this slowness is via hardware acceleration.
I wonder what can be done to improve?

Hello, I have a RaspberryPi that works seamlessly with Raspbian "wheezy". But with android 2 or 4 (gingerbread image) keeps crashing too, is very slow, can not even move.
