Re: Programming

Yes you can install windows on a Raspberry Pi unfortunately it won't be Microsoft Windows I'm trying to make this funny but failing miserably.... BUT! you are obviously impressed with the Raspberry Pi as we all are so take a step back, look at the Pi, it is the size of a credit card, a tiny little m...

The genius that is the Pi

So much on such a small device! How did you do it? Sometimes I'm working with the Pi and I'll hit a hitch, then I look at it, the baseboard of the Pi is literally the same size as a credit card! Yet you don't need a credit card to buy it, the small change in your pocket will probably suffice. I forg...

Get big discounts on Basic4android and interface your Pi

Hi all, I wrote in another thread about my Android program BTInterface (website is btinterface dot com ) and I have been asked what language I used to develop it in. I used B4a (Basic4android) which is actually the only language specifically designed for Android! It can do everything that Eclipse/Ja...

Re: BTInterface Control your Pi Machines via Bluetooth

It 'should' do, the trick is to setup the dongle so that it behaves like a virtual serial port. Do a google search for: raspberry pi bluetooth dongle virtual serial port This link seems to have something about it: http://www.piaccess.com/trac/wiki/Linux_BlueZ_Bluetooth_Serial_Setup You need an 'inco...

BTInterface Control your Pi Machines via Bluetooth

I did ask and abishur said this would probably be the best place to discuss my software so I hope it's ok. The fact is that the Raspberry Pi is an amazing computer, and so small that lots of people are going to make amazing machines with it. How will they control them? Do they stick a 2-line LCD dis...

Re: Introduce yourself!

Hi, I'm ian from southern England.

I'm a programmer and I've just launched an Android app for controlling micro controllers via Bluetooth.

Is there an area of this forum where I'm allowed to tell people about my app?

I don't want to if I'm not allowed.

Thanks

ian
