Re: Official Raspberry Pi 4 Case (screw spec ?)

Finally,

I ended up creating a weak rivet by driving a screw from a servo kit in the hollow of the two post opposite of the ports side. The port side is held in place by the connectors.

Thank you for your suggestions.!!

Re: Official Raspberry Pi 4 Case (screw spec ?)

It's not designed to need screws. You'd have to drill out the posts the PCB mounts on. The holes in the PCB are designed for a 2.5M machine screw. Thx, I was hoping to avoid any "customization" work, using tiny screws for plastic to secure the PI board into the posts. If I need to take the drill ou...

Official Raspberry Pi 4 Case (screw spec ?)

Hi All, Short story: Is there an official spec for the screw to be used if you want to screw the PI4 to the official PI4 case bottom part? Long story: I just received my RPI4 4Gb ram & official case. I have to admit that I failed to look into the details of the new RPI foundation case for the PI4 be...

There are many autistic-like people on this board, glad that you see Autism as a benediction. My son is 11 and it is/was not a benediction for him. He had to learn everything in order to live on this alien planet. True, his autism gives him an edge over others on some aspect (maths, logic, etc), but t...

Ok, there is no mistake.

the red they use is not rendered nicely on a blue body (looks violet)

4 bands vs 5 bands resistors (color blind)

just replenished my 1987 resistor kit using a ebay vendor.

I ordered thin film 5 bands (blue body).

But the red they use is really strange, to the point I wonder if they simply did not made a mistake.

Re: autism: what is your score on this quiz?

I got 31. But I think a single number for a multi-metric quiz like this is a fair bit off-balance. Having a lower floor to just say "No autism" could, as it almost did for me, discredit someone for being high in one area (social encounters are just downright painful to me) and low in others - I put...

Relying on external sources for larger images can cause lost of details on older posts, when the external source goes offline.
