Re: OpenELEC meets Raspberry Pi - part 1 (XBMC)

Hi Guys - Looking for a little help here. I tried downloading one of the builds - 10977 - and attempted to copy the kernel image and elf files over the one from the Debian image (19-04-2012). It booted to the splash screen and that was it. So - I set up an Ubuntu 11.10 VM and attempted to build from...

Re: Has the Logo changed?

<t>It may be my tired eyes but the colour of the Logo seems to have changed from a purple / pink to more of a red?<br/> <br/> I'm guessing that's to make printing easier / cheaper, using a standard key colour?<br/> <br/> Also, there's now a TM designation - I can well imagine all the legality the fo...

Re: What happened to the Beta Boards?

Re: Can i use raspberry pi mainly for web browsing?

<r>The browser version uses Flash, but there is a version called iPlayer Desktop which is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Whether they could compile it for ARM is another matter - it's not open source, but if there was the demand, they may be able to do it.<br/> <br/> It looks like some f...

Re: Can i use raspberry pi mainly for web browsing?

Why is there no Firefox for ARM 6?

Forgive my ignorance but could someone not compile a version of Firefox Mobile for RasPi?

Re: Demo scene?

Yeah, I was going to ask about a demo scene.

There were a few great 64k intros on the Risc PC - It would be good to see what can be done with this device.

It would certainly be better to access the GPU directly, and I'm sure someone will figure out houw to do it...
