There is an ISO for the RISC OS 4.39 installation (160 MB) here: http://support.riscos.com/Support/439INSTALLV2.ISO This is for the other branch of RISC OS so not much use with RO 5, but it does contain the PRMs (Programmer's Reference Manual) in PDF and HTML format, look in the 'Manuals' directory...

Should this always be done from within riscos? I copied the ROM image to the SD card from within Windows, renamed it from riscos to riscos.img, the Pi would not boot from this version. You need to replace the ROM image with that from the RISC OS Open download page: https://www.riscosopen.org/content/downloads/other-zipfiles specifically the RaspberryPi image: https://www.riscosopen.org/zipfiles/misc/BCM2835Dev.5.19.zip?1346224993 It's easiest to do all the work from within RISC OS...
