Re: Fix ports for sensors with two signals each

when you folow the link "The multiple-identical-USB-device problem" there is something written to distinguish the devices by using the port, where they are connected to: cdc_acm 1-1.3:1.0 ... cdc_acm 1-1.3:1.3 ... these numbers should stay constant as long you do not change the physical USB port. ma...

Re: Raspberry Pi 3B+ Unable to sync to correct time

I changed the purge command from ntpd to ntp and it got rid of it without error. I was able to restart timesyncd and now it says active and has updated the time (in military time tho) without me doing anything else. Must have been a typo in your last command? yes, it is possible. i haven't ntp serv...

simply out of curiosity... was the communication/command sequence between RPi & SD/eMMC captured by electrical probing
or can i capture those sequences by using a linux command?

I do however, run regular apt update apt upgrade commands in a terminal every time I use my Pi. i asked, because i always can hold my Heatsink case in my hand. e...

All I can say for sure is, when I touched it, it was incredibly hot and I couldn't hold it for more than a split second.
did you updated to the newest rpi-eeprom firmware ?

Raspbian defaults pcmanfm to a simplified UI.

Remove check mark from this and restart pcmanfm:

I finally brought it over me to try the Raspi with Raspian Lite on the first router, and it's not working there either and you are realy shure that none of the routers (the first and the secoond - RPi as router) has a blacklist (disallow devices by mac) and whitelist (only devices with known mac ar...

FileManager/Desktop: option "create new empty file" is gone

hello,

i am pretty shure, that i had a context menu option in File Manager (pcmanfm) to create an empty file.
(right click to empty space of the file view -> "create empty file")
after an sudo apt full-upgrade and a sudo reboot today, that option is gone.

is your 5Ghz/2.4GHz AP a DIY one? if so, i mean in hostapd.conf is written, that when using 5GHz and 2.4GHz at the same time these are in fact two different interfaces. maybe you forgot to tell to "bridge" those two interfaces together... you also can give both bands a different SSID name e.g. abc f...

Each sensor has two signals (one for control CLI and the other for data)
no idea what that means...
both devices are USB devices and have the no or the same serial number?
did you watched that link that is an external reference of the link you posted.

you can try to copy all the keys from /home/pi/.ssh/gc_rsa to /root/.ssh/gc_rsa and make root as owner of those files. and for autossh use /root/.ssh/gc_rsa as key path.
