Home Automation

Hi I have had my pi a wee while now but haven't really done anything good enough with it so I decided I'll automate my bedroom and studyroom. Hi

I followed your tutorial o the letter but when i go to run openvpn at the end it says

Code: Select all

[FAIL] Starting virtual private network daemon: openvpn server failed!
Anyone know where the obvious places of error are or the common fixes?

Thanks

Thanks very much.

Quick question: besides mask my IP address and hide my traffic, does a VPN do anything else?

Re: Remote Proxy Server

I am by no means a malicious hacker planning on doing anything to the network. All I'm trying to do is get access to sites like Youtube and yahoo forums. I was making a travel video and it wouldn't let me on the Visit New Zealand website. I only need it for the times when non-harmful sites like thos...

Twitter With Python

Previously before I got my pi I had been using a perl module from CPAN to get and update a twitter status so I could remotely connect to my pi with ease

As I cannot install any modules from CPAN I was wondering if there was a way to do what I was doing in perl, in python instead?

Thanks,
Ethan
