Re: How to update values continously on a Web page

You might want to take a look at the "Dashing" dasboards.

Here are some links to get you started:

Please note Dashing does not work with IE.

Centralized Passwords for logging in to Pis

Hello,

I have quite a number of Pis and would like to know if there is a way to have a centrally managed userID/Password database (LDAP?). I generally only care about SSH access - although we do use RDP to a GUI on some of them.

Any detailed suggestions on how to accomplish this?

Thanks!

Turn on an LED when connected to wifi

Hello, I am looking for a script (python?) that when will start when the pi boots up and continually check to see if the wifi has successfully connected to a wifi AP and will turn on a LED (connected to GPIO) indicating connection. I need this because I will have a pi in a location that will not hav...

Move audio between 2 rooms

I need to be able to send audio from one location within a building to another location.

What would be the best way to use a Raspberry PI to encode the audio and send it across a single layer 2 network to another PI where it would be decoded and sent out on the audio out connection?

Thanks

Using RadioReference to broadcast signal from SDR

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has used a Pi with an SDR to send a stream to Radio Reference? I would like to be able to have my Pi receive an RF signal via SDR (RTL2832U/R820) and stream the signal to Radio Reference (via EZStream?). Has anyone else tried this? If so, do you have any instructions...

Re: Project idea: Vehicle Speed Detection with a camera

The speed data collected (without any identifing information) would be provided to the local police to show them there is a problem and then maybe they will do something about it. The camera would be in or on my house and pointing at the road so that should not be a legal issue. Here is a link http:...

Project idea: Parking space monitor

Hello Everyone, I would like to have a pi with a camera attached monitor the street for the availbiltiy of parking spaces. The spaces would be easily definable (see slide 36 in http://courses.washington.edu/cee320w/lectures/Traffic%20Detection.ppt for a similiar concept). This same general idea coul...

Project idea: Vehicle Speed Detection with a camera

Hello everyone, The neighborhood that I live in has a problem with people speeding and I would like to find a way to easily monitor the speed of cars going by my house. I would like to use a camera connected to the pi to detect when a object enters/exits the viewing area and the pi determine the spe...

I have tried win32diskimager, but it only backs up the 1st partion. 2) I would like to be able to call a '...

I followed the instructions below and it is working well for me....

Make sure that you are using Chrome when you are using the admin portion of FreePBX. IE was terribly slow.
