Re: TinyTOSLINK (digital audio output) now for B+, too

Hi Benjamin,

I received the board today, that's quick to Australia.

I got to wondering if it would also take an optical input from another device and then out to speakers using a USB DAC?

the board is really quite a quality piece of equipment.

Thanks
Dave

Re: Multiroom audio: Multiple Bluetooth dongles > Multiple S

Hi, I use shairport-sync which allows the pi to stay in sync with other airplay speakers. You can send audio from iOS or Android, or use software like airparrot (mac/windows/chromeos) or itunes (mac/windows) etc from a desktop. I use a B+ with a cheap USB audio device but an A+ on wifi would be ok a...

process with explicit name

Hi, I was installing minidlna on my Raspbian system and ran the top command via ssh. a process appeared with a explicit name, quite insulting actually. It said f***you I was shocked and immediately pulled the plug and whiped the sd card. I stupidly recently reloaded my system to run as a DVBlink ser...

Re: usb harddrive permissions

So reformatting the drive to ext4 will mean I don't need to change anything else?

Hi,

I am trying to record to my external hard drive in TVHeadend and I get a permission denied message.

How do I set the permission on an external hard drive to read write for all?

Thanks

adding HDhomerun drivers

Hi, I installed TVHeadend on top of Squeezeplug 6 (debian) and want to use my HDhomerun as the tuners so the pi doesnt need to be near the antenna outlet. I have searched the net but cant find a good tutorial on installing the drivers on a pi so they appear in TVheadend as tuners. Does anyone have a...

Re: SqueezePlug Version 5 ready for download

Hi,

I ran the set up and could see the Logitech Server and also the Airplay client but overnight the Pi is now not contactable via ssh or appearing on the network using Fing on my iPhone.

It is plugged into the router no wifi.

Did I miss something?

Dave
