Raspberry Pi DVB TV uHAT redundant?

Bit of a rant... The only downloadable OS for the Pi is now Buster. The RP TV uHat is dependant on TVHeadend which does not work. I don't want to wait weeks or months, I want solution out of the box now! I know Buster has only recently been released but why no whatever TV? As for Pi4b um... Rant ove...

Run
sudo rpi-update && sudo reboot
then rerest. There's supposed to be a AWB fix for NOIR cameras in the latest bootcode/firmware.

https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/issues/1167
Thanks, that seems to have cured it. Will test more in next few days outside.

Re: Camera now magenta after update

I have the same problem, very pink/magenta colour especially evident in strong light changes which wont then recover! Is there a proper fix coming out for this problem?

If I stop the video (RPi Cam mjpeg) then it recovers.

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 temperature

Seems to me a 25x25x7mm 5v fan is more than enough, or a very large heatsink covering the whole board. A 3d printable version here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3717239 inc a TV bonnet version. I have it running at 3.3v soldered to the underside (Risks known) and so far it keeps it between 50 an...

Re: Which WiFi hub am I connecting to?

Simplest way i know is: iwlist wlan0 scan | grep ESSID By the way - for local addresses you do not need to hide the IP - can make debugging much much harder for folk helping. Routers will not allow access to them from outside the LAN Thanks for that and the info re LAN addresses, does that equally ...

Fan is rated at 5v 0.2A so at 3.3v something like 0.13A Is that to much?

Pi4b cooling fan wirerd to TP No??

I want to connect a small 5v 25x25x7mm fan without interfering with the GPIO pins so thought of soldering to a Test Point providing 3.3v as the fan does not need to run at full speed and I don't want to get into adding more circuitry. Although its going into a well vented case (https://www.thingiver...

Pi4b J2 Run Global_En as power

Wondering what these are for and is it OK to run a very small fan from here (25x25x7mm 5v 0.2a) on either the 3.3v or the 4.75v side as tested? I want to keep the 40pin GPIO header clear for other stuff and don't really want to solder underneath

Write your (short) text to /dev/shm/mjpeg/user_annotate.txt, and then use the %a parameter in the annotation field to add the contents of this file to the annotation.

Can a separate area be set up in the Hardware and peripherals section for discussion of the TV Hat? Similar to the Camera boards or screen etc.
