Re: A2DP Sink Pre-built RPI Image

This is great, I just posted in another thread about seeing if anyone got the automatic reconnect working so it's pretty awesome to have found your solution. A couple of things I had to do were to make sure everything was working and enabled. The sudo commands below aren't necessary because this app...

Re: Does anyone have this Bluetooth speaker receiver working

I have been working on this for a few months and really want to have it automatically connect. I have used an older Belkin bluetooth dongle that worked fine only on iPad. The iPhone wouldn't recognize it before because I believe the class of device was incorrect even though I was specifying it in th...

RasPi timelapse of a transmission swap

I have been playing around with my raspberry pi camera module and have seen lots of people doing cool stuff with video and timelapse. I have wanted to do something interesting so when I discovered my transmission input shaft bearing failed and I needed to replace it, I viewed it as an opportunity to...

Re: how stream video into html5 <video>

The one question I had is handling of old .ts segments. The segment list can be of aribitrary length however it appears that additional work needs to go on in the background to clean up the old segments else you will just fill up your SD card. Yes this would be a useful addition. I must confess I t...

Re: how stream video into html5 <video>

I am reviving an old thread in order to post an update and see if anyone else has encountered the same issue as me. I have successfully implemented the HLS streaming using information contained here as well as from AndyA's Github. Some changes were needed to the .sh script to get everything function...

Re: How to order from non-UK countries?

I was able to get an order through to Newark over the phone even though the website appears to be down in the US. I was on hold for less than a minute and the order was easy. I just told him the parts I wanted and they sorted everything out. They are only allowing 1 per customer at this point.

Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

I have a BIONIC lapdock and my setup is - Micro female to micro female HDMI adapter -> Micro male to Type A female -> Type A to Type A Male cable - with all pins connected. It is a bit hit and miss on whether I get any HDMI output/input, I have tracked the intermittency down to the male cable into ...

Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

A quick update on which parts to buy for a successful adapter set. The last of my things arrived today and after some splicing, everything works perfectly. I chose to only backfeed power through the USB A connector. Micro USB female to male adapter $4.28 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EJHH20 H...

Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

Newark has a good supply of Pis from what I have seen over the last few days. I ordered one and all of the necessary connectors for about a 6 foot standoff from the Pi and got a new Atrix lapdock off of amazon for $80. I only have a laptop and no external monitor so I had been looking for a separate...
