So you took the literal .img file, not the zip, (no offense just have to make sure ;-) ) I did :) and use that guy's tool to write it to your SD card. Check Can you check to make sure that you wrote the img file to the correct disk? On Windows you won't be able to see anything except the root parti...

- I extracted the 7z to a folder on my local driver
- I used the tool to 'burn' the img-file to the SD-card
- I inserted the SD-card in the sd-cardslot of the raspberry pi (model b)
- Powered on the Raspberry Pi, screen stayed black.

I'm having the same issue as Montekuri which everyone seems to ignore.

I 'burned' the cyanogenmod 7.2 from http://androidpi.wikia.com/wiki/Android_Pi_Wiki to an SD-card but it just doesn't boot on my new Raspberry Pi model B.. Any help?
