Re: Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400: Does it work for

The occasional sticky key but no tracked problems in Debian or RaspBMC. I thought I was at the end of its range (3m line of sight) but my Perixx 717 is worse. Perfect tracked but awful, like 15 mins to log in awful.

Re: Amount of RAM

Actually, the one I was on about is more like four times the price. I got a dual core 1.6ghz atom mini atx board with 2gb RAM, 120gb hard drive and DVD rewriter for a tenner more than that.

My first three are going in origami boxes stuck to the back of three TVs. Two of them have USB ports so I'm hoping to power them from there.

Anyone know of a credit card sized powered USB hub? I don't suppose it'll be long before someone makes one built into a Pi case.

Apart from a release date I don't think I've ever been so well informed about a hardware development process.

Re: For those looking for a mediaplayer only

To those planning on using it as a media player only, buy one. Maybe someone else in your life will find some excellent uses for it. Maybe you'll use it to turn your TV into a "smart" TV. At worst, you've got a nice media player and you've given money to charity at the same time.

Yes. It is the perfect foundation for many projects. I expect mine will go through many incarnations before becoming the brain of a six-legged suicide research-bot.

I'm just going to screw a credit card above and below. Haven't figured out exactly how yet cos there aren't any holes in the board. Maybe upgrade to two pieces of perspex at a later date.
