Re: Overcoming a GCC 'sudo' issue

this :-
cc1: /root/Downloads/zpugcc/toolchain/instal

^^ root
1) dont run the desktop as root
2) dont download things into root
3) do it all as a normal user
i.e edit, build run....

if you need to install it somewhere then sudo install .... but never run as root normally

Re: Swap file full with real RAM at 5% ??? Memory doubts

what is it like when it first boots up ?
you can use the swap if you are doing stuff that uses lots then you free up the memory and it will not swap back out to ram unless it is used

Re: Raspberry 4 for Bitcoin mining

I've done Bitcoin mining
even using usb miners you wont do anything

I've posted links on how to set it up in the past but basically don't bother
even ASIC's won't get you anything unless you have free electricity

Re: Is 5A from PC usb port OK for power supply?

umm bad figures from somewhere
USB 1.0 and 2.0 is .5A @ 5V
USB 3.0 is .9A @5V
USB 3.1 // thunderbolt is 5V @1.5A or 3A
USB c PD is umm not sure

but in general you may not get enough ampage out of the port YMMV - try it and see
