Re: 5" HDMI Touchscreen

Here is a link to an affordable 7" touch-screen for a similar single-board-computer project: https://www.olimex.com/Products/OLinuXino/A13/A13-LCD7-TS/ The screen driver circuit apparently has a 40-pin connector to the computer-board. I'm not sure how the touch-screen is interfaced. Would the same i...

Re: 24bit ADC + 16bit DAC ?

24 bit? do you really need a resolution of (your temp range/16,777,216) degrees? :o The price for 24-bit slow ADCs isn't really that high, so why not. Most datasheets specify about 20 effective number of bits however (the rest is noise, unless you average over many samples). It might not be trivial...

Re: 5" HDMI Touchscreen

Any update on this? I am sure many people would be very interested! (1) I don't think so. (2) yes. For car use a 7" HDMI screen with USB touch-screen seems to cost around 150-200euros. If yours is smaller people might want to pay proportionally less. 45 USD seems very cheap. (3) If one wants to use ...

24bit ADC + 16bit DAC ?

Hi all, I'm considering building a temperature controller which would read temperature from 1-4 sensors and use 1-4 heaters to control the temperature with a PID loop. For measurement I'll want a 1-4 channel ADC at 24bits (slow, something like 1-10 samples/s would be enough) and for the heater contr...
