Re: Scanning library freeze the RPi

It has been fixed in the latest nightly release, it was a XMBC on Pi related issue (progressive JPEG rendering AFAIK)

Re: Scanning library freeze the RPi

The Pi is still here as I can get logged in over ssh...

As I read it could be a xvmc issue but I don't find too much informations

Scanning library freeze the RPi

Hi, I try both raspbmc/openelec, just adding a smb source for tv show and launch scanning for tv show agains TVBD frooze the UI when I try to go back on main screen UI. It seems working behind the UI as the Pi is blinking but I have no controls over the UI anymore. XMC Remote is still connected (fro...

Re: [France] Snootlab has some RPi left

Re: Raspberry pi GPIO and 433Mhz receiver

Sure, this one is used with arduino to make an Oregon Scientific receiver, I was wondering if we can juste avoid to use the Arduino and use a transmitter to receiver/emit "things" to and from distants devices.

For example Sensors but also remote controlled lights and so on.

Re: Raspberry pi GPIO and 433Mhz receiver

Yes and the tellstick cost 59€, the bulk module for RF only 6€ so :) There are also other considerations : - use Realtime kernel (easy part) - use a driver (make or use existing ?) - write the app to parse the data (make or use ?) Any feedback will be appreciated, in fact I try to create a cheaper R...

Raspberry pi GPIO and 433Mhz receiver

Hi Raspberry Community,

I was wondering if we can connect a RRQ3-433 (http://www.lextronic.fr/P865-recepteur- ... 3-433.html) receiver on the GPIO in oder to get values from Oregon Scientific termal sensors ?

Thanks for any advice.
