Re: Compiling Guide?

OK, so it is basically identical to regular compiling on an x86 linux machine as long as it is on the RasPi or set up to compile for RasPi via emulator, etc.

Thanks for the quick reply and clearing that up.

+1 Raspberries to you good sir!

Re: Compiling Guide?

<t>With me awaiting my turn in the que, I've found (and obtained) some programs along with their source code that I wish to hopefully use with the Pi.  I HAVE compiled programs for x86 linux before, but that was at least 3-4 years ago.<br/> <br/> Is there a guide on how to compile for ARM linux?  Or...

Re: Post your estimated arrival dates

Element 14 says its to ship out May 14th..

But for $35 total, I'll be happy!

(they have somewhere on their site stating that there are no shipping charges for domestic orders, and didn't charge me it.  So I'm guessing the have a US branch?)

<t>So...   Made in China?<br/> <br/> A little disheartening, but I'll still be purchasing one none the less.<br/> <br/> Maybe, down the line, a small percentage of the manufacturing could be sent to the smaller places in the UK to stimulate the economy there.  While the bulk are still sent overseas,...

Re: USB 3.0?

<t>I'm not super technical, but is it possible for the R-Pi to receive USB 3.0 connectors in a later revision and keep the current size?<br/> <br/> Methinks this could be an interesting solution as USB 3 is being paraded as faster than the original SATA speeds...<br/> <br/> And, yes, I already used ...

Re: Games

Seeing as they had quake 3 running on it, it MAY be possible. Someone would have to compile the source for ARM along with maybe some tweaks.

(Holy cow, is Nexuiz really still going? I miss it and should pick it up again!)

or:

Find the right resistance to make the voltage 5v.
