Re: Potential conflict camera vs display

I thank you for the help. As it turns out the problem here was how I was powering the display. When the display is powered and connected it works. Duh!!!!

Again, thanks!

Re: Well known I2C addresses

Thanks, much appreciated.

Something I am doing is causing an interference. I have to do some troubleshooting.
I2cdetect reports zeroes at all ports when I plug in the camera (rev 1.3). Cabling or other problem.

Thanks!

Well known I2C addresses

Is there a list of well known I2C addresses? I have a pi camera, pi display and a PiModules PIco UPS. I think I have a conflict. I know the PiModule address range, but cannot find the others.

Orderly shutdown

I've had a number of crashes, file-system corruption due to unexpected loss of power. The obvious fix is to put it on a UPS. But that's expensive and not too convenient. Before I go invent something, here is what I think will do the trick... PiPow.PNG The selection of the battery determines if it ho...

Re: USB terminal

Oh darn, thought I'd save a bunch of wire.
Maybe an idea for Rev 2.0

Does the Ethernet cable need to be a cross-over if plugged in directly?

USB terminal

Is it possible to establish a terminal session thru the power connection? It is a micro USB but is it a full USB port? I plugged it into my laptop, the Pi boots, but I cannot seem to find a means to make a terminal session. If not, what is a method using a laptop to establish a USB terminal session ...
