7" is not so portable, 3.5" would suit my purposes....

the Pitft 2.8" 320x240 touchscreen display is now available** in 3.5" 320x480 format.

is there a simple reason this will not work with pitft28-resistive-overlay.dtb
ie format is not a parameter?

Dougie, unfortunately this build does not have /boot/overlays, as per link above special kernel for usb display... is there an easy workaround?
