Re: Getting individual pages from magazines - remix?

We don't make the IDDs available as the PDFs hold all the info anyway. You can grab the images and text and such from the PDFs, although I don't know any free software off the top of my head that can remake them in a way you'd like - sorry!

Re: Subscription ended with no reminder

The switchover happened around the summer last year. It should have been a seamless transition for subscribers however obviously it looks like that's not the case for everyone, apologies.

Re: Hack Smart Lights Magpi 76

This sounds like a problem with the Python script - give it another look over to make sure it's correct, and compare it to the online version.

As the people that forged the PDFs, we're able to change them so the online version is updated. Thanks for the spot!

Re: Missing issues in online catalogue

That's correct - the magazine itself is a bit smaller now. The cover has new dimensions, so it will look a little odd for the next few months.

Re: which is the magpi text editor

We hand-edit those to look like that due to the limitations of our design software - it's based on pretty standard syntax highlighting with our own colour scheme.

Huh, I didn't see that thread.

We did have a robot building thing in issues 51 and 52.

We do take on board suggestions though!

Re: Pi Zero Whereabouts?

About a month ago now, I subscribed to the print edition of the MagPi magazine. The advert stated, as did the email confirming subscription, that I'd get a Pi Zero with the sub. I've received the magazine in just a black plastic bag, but no Pi. How long does it usually take to get shipped? Please c...

On page 50 of issue 67, we have an American writer doing a tutorial that uses a lamp powered by mains electricity.

We absolutely should have put a warning to be careful when messing with mains electricity. Please be careful!

MagPi donations and recycling

In the last few months, we've had a couple of readers ask about donating their unused/unwanted issues of The MagPi to a Raspberry Jam or other event. The purpose of this thread is to act as a place for people to offer their old issues and books to those that run Raspberry Pi events and would be grat...

Honestly, there's no conspiracy here about purposefully ignoring your product - I've personally never heard of it until seeing this forum thread and the freelancer that wrote that article wouldn't have ignored it either. Apologies if you feel slighted by this. There's a LOT of Pi stuff that crosses ...

Re: hubpixed vs zero4u

Hi digger, The company, UUGear, have been making USB hub add-ons for the Raspberry Pi since at least 2014, here's an early model that uses stock photography that includes an original Model B: http://www.uugear.com/portfolio/high-speed-7-port-usb-hub-for-raspberry-pi/ They're proving tricky to locate...
