Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I am trying to set up a password and cannot get it to work. I run the install.sh file and specify a username and password. The password contains a $ and when done I can login but the password is everything in front of the $. I also tried adding a user via the htpasswd command, but seems like it isn'...

SD cards dying

I have had 2 sd cards die in the past 2 days. One is a 8gb generic, but only 3 months old, the other is a Samsung evo 16gb that is about 1yr old. Both are having superblock messages in gparted and can read from them, but can't write. Am I just getting unlucky with my sd cards? I am using them in an ...

Re: Trying to get script working

Is there a way to just launch a program without logging in or showing any text? If I remove the warranty info, it will still show some login text (like last login etc)

I currently have a RPi3 that is running Jessie Lite. I have it booting to FBI (via script) with an image or slideshow. I want to remove all text when booting. I have a lot of it removed, but the last part I can't seem to remove is after the autologin. Can someone help me get rid of it? Here is what ...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I made the change on that link. And also reverted my router back to ddwrt from stock, and one of those changes did it. Not sure as I think prob the driver one though.
Now if I could only get the hostname to resolve, but at least I can always hit it by ip now.

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I am having some odd issues recently. I used to have my pi hooked up so I can use it as a baby monitor, all was working well till I moved 2 weeks ago. Now it is like the device is going to sleep and have to ping it a lot of times before it comes online and I can use the camera. I have done a fresh i...

Re: Help finding good power supply

so the 6ft cable I was using is giving me about a .5-.7v drop. I am currently using my nexus charger (5v 2a) and cable with everything plugged in and get the square in the corner if it hits 4.8v, which is occassional. I then swapped to my Galaxy charger (5.3v 2a) and am running at 5.14v with no flas...

Cool, I'd be interested in your findings. Do you get an actual 5v from it or more like a 4.75

Re: Help finding good power supply

related: I have a usb cable 6ft 28awg that seems to be causing issues on my B+ with a 5v2a adapter I already have. Should I look for a 5.1 or 5.2v adapter instead, or just get a "wall wart" with a micro usb on the end?

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Possibly power issue? I had a problem with that as well. Also try reverting to different firmware. There is a post about that back a few pages.

The files are saved in /var/www/media, which you could redirect to a different location if you want.
