Re: Restore USB Drive

Gparted is a good way to go. If you are looking for a good quick fix, you can use Raspbmc's installer to actually restore your SD card. http://www.raspbmc.com/wiki/user/windows-installation/ Just download the installer there, and when you run it, select 'Restore' SD Card instead of install and you a...

Re: Is it possible to set a flat overclock rate with the RPi

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, it just clicked for me. You are awesome! Thank you.

Just made some backup images now while I was waiting around. I am just curious to see the speeds running it at 1ghz the whole time.

You haven't happened to have checked out the temperature difference running it in force_turbo eh?

Re: Is it possible to set a flat overclock rate with the RPi

Would that be any different that running raspi-config and selecting my overclock there? Because I am pretty sure that using raspi-config to overclock scales back the mhz to 700 when not in use. Or is the code force_turbo=1 in config.txt, set it to 1ghz regardless of what the RPi is doing? Thanks for...

Is it possible to set a flat overclock rate with the RPi

I was unsure what to look for and was unable to find any information related to this specifically for the Raspberry PI. am currently using the Turbo Mode overclock for a couple of my RPi's. This runs at 700mhz and then jumps to 1ghz when needed. However I was curious if there was a simple solution t...

Re: Nintendo Game & Watch PI Case

That's very cool.

Yeah not having the right tools sucks, I was using a drill and attempting to drill everything out myself. Still this turned out awesome, nice job!

Re: My Famicon Game Case

Thanks!

Having a retro game emulator running on the pi with an old video game case or console would be so awesome to have. I 'm picking up a dremel so I can make proper cuts without all the ugly holes in this one. If you end up making any other cool retro cases, I'd love to see how you made out. :)

Re: 50 cent case

That's awesome! I saw the exact same case at the dollar store and was going to purchase it to try this out. However, they only had an ugly off-white creamy colour there, so I chose against it. The black looks great though, and you cannot beat the price. :)

My Famicon Game Case

I thought I would join the fun and post one of the cases I made the other day. After cracking open a Nintendo Famicon game I noticed that the internal dimensions are the exact same as the RPi. The ethernet port was a little too tall so I had to cut that section out, but after putting a base plate yo...
