Re: Long dtoverlay line truncated? Can't seem to get all the properties recognized at once

Thank you! Ugh, I feel so bad for missing that - I swear I looked up all sorts of documentation and ctrl+F'd looking around for limits and characters, but seem to have missed that one. dtoverlay=rotary-encoder dtparam=pin_a=6 dtparam=pin_b=5 dtparam=steps-per-period=4 dtparam=relative_axis dtparam=l...

Long dtoverlay line truncated? Can't seem to get all the properties recognized at once

I've attempted three different ways of setting up this rotary encoder (I will eventually have 2 hooked up, but for now, just trying to get this one) dtoverlay=rotary-encoder,pin_a=5,pin_b=6,steps-per-period=4,relative_axis,linux_axis=8 dtoverlay=rotary-encoder,pin_a=5,pin_b=6,steps-per-period=4,linu...

Re: Tons of Bluetooth: hci0: Frame reassembly failed (-84) messa

Sorry to necro a thread, but I'm having exactly this same behavior, just in a slightly different situation. I'm trying to build a car radio replacement with support for Bluetooth audio, using a Raspberry Pi Model 3B+. I have it working, but every few seconds, I get a block of those Bluetooth: hci1:...

Re: Pi 3 bluetooth not working when usb webcam is accessed

Probably a hardware design problem. Either that, or nobody has figured out how to fix the driver for the UART that it's using so that it doesn't have so many errors. I have to use a USB Bluetooth dongle to get acceptable Bluetooth performance. In my case it's audio streaming that doesn't work. I've ...

Re: Pi as A2DP sink - SBC decoding error; audio completely s

I'm still having the problem even after disabling wifi (ifdown wlan0) Sadly it doesn't even always depend on me doing something, just at random it will drop some frames and then take a good chunk of time to restart the A2DP stream, or in some cases just plain give up and disconnect. That said, doing...

Pi as A2DP sink - SBC decoding error; audio completely stops

I'm using the 5/27 Jessie build which has Bluetooth audio source enabled, but I want to receive audio from my phone too. My Pi is hooked up to a TV via HDMI cable, audio is also going out that HDMI cable. I started pulseaudio pulseaudio --start and saw via bt-adapter -i that the sink service is alre...

Re: How to install/ build/ play Quake 3....

Hi i have problem when i launch q3 everything is ok in menu but when i start to play after 10-30 seconds my rpi reboot any ideas? i have good power supply (2.1A) This is the current limit triggering a reboot. You can override the current limit to let the Pi draw as much as it needs, but it may caus...

Re: How to install/ build/ play Quake 3....

My audio is really quiet and noisy. I can hardly hear it when I hook up, whether to my monitor speakers (which aren't great, but should at least make sound) or to a set of Etymotic in-ear headphones. I tried the sudo modprobe snd-bcm2835 but it didn't change anything. While Quake 3 is running, the s...

Re: Why am I missing about 90MB? / Stripping unneeded things

Thanks! Sure enough, it is reserving 22,912 blocks. I'll let it keep that. Now that I have over 400mb free, I feel like I could compile the whole world :D

Why am I missing about 90MB? / Stripping unneeded things out

I have a 2gb Sandisk SD card. It's not much, but it's the only one I have at the moment. I have been working with it for a while with no issues, but last night I ran into an out of space error while doing apt-get upgrade. It was only updating libSDL-mixer, so I was surprised that it had space to dow...

Re: Updated GPU firmware

Bit the bullet, updated the firmware, recompiled Quake 3

Maybe it's just my imagination, but I think I got a boost from 40 fps to 45 fps on high graphical quality.

Is there any chance of a firmware that allows control of the FPS cap or AA?

Re: Quake 3 Arena at 60 FPS

I am finding a few graphical glitches, nothing too terrible but I would like to try and track them down. Like the portal at the bottom of DM7 that shows the area with the plasma gun. It's showing the whole hallway, not just the piece that would be visible through the portal window in normal Quake 3....

hi, if I try to compile quake3 in compliance with these instructions I get following error: make[2]: Entering directory `/quake3' LD build/release-linux-arm/ioq3ded.arm LD build/release-linux-arm/ioquake3.arm /usr/bin/ld:lib/libSDL.so: file format not recognized; treating as linker script /usr/bin/...

I am sorry that has happened... Truth be told I do not know what the problem is! Are you running Raspbian? Have you successfully downloaded GitClone? Did you get any other errors before that step? Please expand on the situation! Sorry I could not be of more help! The Raspberry Pi Guy ;) I don't kno...

Re: How to install/ build/ play Quake 3....

I am having a problem compiling. I made the changes and ran ./build.sh and it goes for a few minutes, having no problem compiling the first few files. It runs into several errors starting with unknown type name 'vm_t' and NULL not defined in code/qcommon/vm.c And because that file doesn't compile, m...
